About Us

The Happy Life Laundromat concept was created in 2016 by the Clark family in the Rockford, Illinois area. The laundromat was built from the ground up on the site of an old go-kart track near the Cherry Valley mall and opened its doors in January 2018 to serve it’s very first customers. The idea was simple - to provide the best quality laundry experience by using bigger, high tech machines in a spacious, entertaining and relaxing environment. 

The wash, dry and fold business was built one customer at a time and, quite honestly, by the love of helping people. The laundry pick up and delivery business followed shortly thereafter when we purchased our first van in March of 2018. Our employees are what really makes the difference and are considered part of our ‘Happy Life’ family. They take extra pride in our service and cleanliness everyday and several have been around since the beginning. We feel that we have something unique that you cannot find anywhere else because we go above and beyond with our services and take extra special care in handling garments for each customer.
